I attended here for three weeks in the early 2000's. I was enrolled in a single course, PHP. During my studies I was approached by an older man who began talking to me about crimes I was accused of committing against a Mennonite woman named Wendy Heidebrecht. I promptly dropped out of the school fearing ongoing harassment from the Mennonite community.
I attended here in 1998 taking a course in Spanish. I was still interested in returning to a college environment and was taking things easy and slowly after departing from Columbia Bible College. I was here for a couple of weeks when an older man approached me in the concourse (or the atrium i think) and reminded me about the crimes I was accused of committing against Wendy Heidebrecht when I was in the Mennonite community. I promptly dropped out of the college.
I matriculated here from 1992-1997 studying Youth Ministries. I was hoping to receive a Bachelor's degree and become a youth pastor. Unfortunately it was a very abusive experience that resulted in me developing significant mental health issues. I was eventually expelled from the college. I was told be administrators that God told them to expel me though discernment prayer. I left the school under very poor conditions and was unable to appeal to anyone or continue at any other Christian school due to this school being unaccredited at that time.
I completed my GED at this school when I was 19. I was probably the oldest student in the school at the time. This was in 1992.
I was here for a couple of years from 1989-1991. I dropped out once and then returned. It was a school for grade 11 and 12 students. I actually really enjoyed going to this high school. It was probably my best experience in my school years.
In the late eighties I was here for a very short time. A friend of mine who I played RPG's with started bullying me for no reason and this was very painful for me to endure. I dropped out of the school because of this experience.
I was here for a couple of years in the mid eighties. There was lots of bullying towards me during my time here. I only had one friend during my time here. I didn't enjoy my experience at this school. Most of the time I was uninterested in the classes and would venture off into my imagination. During lunch hours I would eat my lunch in the boys' washrooms and wander the halls.
i was here very briefly before moving out of the town of Castlegar back down to the Lower Mainland. Not much to say.
I was here for grades seven and eight. I was bullied quite a lot here. I had a friend but we were more like friends after school hours and not during school. I was more like a secret friend. I went to summer school in my seventh grade due to my hobbies (LEGO and Dungeons and Dragons) totally distracting me from school and also from the amount of bullying I was enduring.
I was here from 1979-1982 (I think). I was in grades 4-6 here. I experienced a lot of bullying from students. I didn't like it here. I got involved with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons in grade six which, along with my LEGO and Atari 2600, were coping mechanisms that helped me get through the elementary years here.
From Kindergarten to grade three I attended elementary schools in White Rock, Ocean Falls, Surrey, Toronto, Port Moody and probably other places I no longer remember. Lots of different schools.
